I have been making perfume oils for over thirty five years. I have spent many of those years gathering knowledge and searching for recipes from antiquity and then reproducing them as authentically as I can. Two of my oils fall into that specific category with the other seven oils being based on equally classic blends and recipes but with out the extensive antiquity attached to their recipes.

The first of the two ancient oils i have made is called, ‘ Ancient Queen’ and is based on a recipe found in the tombs of Egypt. It is believed to have been the perfume of Cleopatra and the Pharaohs from over 2000 years ago. The Second of the ancient Oils is based on a bronze age recipe from the temples of the Minoan culture of ancient Crete. I have called this oil Athenasia in honour of the Goddess of the double headed Axe, of the sacred feminine, of eternal life and of immortality.

I make my own base oils one of which has been brewing for over thirty years. For the last twenty years it has been made and replenished with fresh and highly scented red rose petals which I pick from the rose bush that my Grandfather gave me before he passed away. I have created Perfume oils that have many layers, have a history and in so many ways are sacred but also fun.

Perfume oils are strong when you initially apply them to your skin, so please allow the oil to settle and merge and I am sure you will revel in and enjoy the luxurious, sacred and natural scents.
